[55 warriors / 65 drummers / 65 star dancers]
Tribu Paghidaet twice hailed as Grand Champion of the annual Dinagyang Festival literally worked their asses off to snatch the title away from last year's winner, Tribu Ilonganon. They swayed with much gusto. They're the most energetic among the 20 contending tribes. They twist and turn like there's no tomorrow and their musical beat does not allow them to pause or rest. It just doesn't stop. Their performance (in judging area number 3 where I was seated) was the only tribe that received a standing ovation for almost one minute.
